The project was developed based on the experience of "Architecture of catastrophes" of the International Union of Architects. He was nominated for the World Architecture Festival WAF - 2010 and received his third degree on the results of the First International Festival of innovative technologies in architecture and construction of "Green Project - 2010" held in November this year in Moscow, in the "conceptual projects."

Autonomous building "Ark", is able to provide its inhabitants with all the resources in all areas, including the earthquake-prone, as well as to stay afloat in raising the level of the oceans.

Bioclimatic building equipped with an autonomous life support system, designed as a response to possible climate change on the planet. The objective was to create a healthy and comfortable environment for humans.

Technology bioclimatic building is designed for quick implementation in any situation: earth, water, extreme conditions of the south or north, the removal of life support networks, lack of fuel sources, as well as seismic dangerous zones and the possible flooding in raising global sea level. Construction of the building must begin with the installation of a central support (tube) of lightweight structures. In this case, the foundation for it can serve as a floating platform. At the bottom of this pipe is a power unit, which converts thermal energy into electricity, and at the top - heat pumps, wind generators and generator of a tornado. All utilities are inside the pipe. After its installation, all construction is carried out autonomously by its energy - are being built dome bearing wooden arches, and the height of the ground part is 30 meters. Upon completion of the structure occupies a site in 3,2 thousand square meters.

Energy project concept was developed by Academic Lev Britvin.

The building is designed as an integrated energy system with an uninterruptible power supply using alternative energy sources. In this case, when waste is also generated heat (or converted into bio-fertilizer). For the inhabitants of "Ark" provides an opportunity for the arts and sports, recreation, residential and medical care, education. Internet and television will provide residents of the building autonomous relationship with the outside world.
